The full specification of the $TIM time index, its pricing formulation, and the consensus model that settles it.

Abstract

Abstract

$TIM (Time Is Money) is a digital asset whose unit of account is one minute of verifiable computational time, benchmarked against the value of Bitcoin. Rather than anchoring to a fiat currency or a discretionary reserve, $TIM anchors to an arithmetic identity between two observable market prices and a published emission schedule.

The result is a fiat-independent index that expresses how long a high-throughput proof-of-work network must emit in order to accumulate one Bitcoin of value. That duration is intrinsically auditable: any observer with market data and the emission schedule can reproduce the price exactly.
